Thomas Tsang is a practicing public accountant and a partner in MRI Moores Rowland LLP.


Thomas has been a partner in mid-tier public accountancy firms since 2005, where he had led public and private companies’ audit, initial public offerings audit, and financial due diligence of cross border acquisitions. He also possesses the practical knowledges and experiences in valuation for merger & acquisition, purchase price allocation in acquisition accounting, annual goodwill impairment assessment, and employee share option pricing for private company. He was instrumental in formalizing the audit methodology of public accountancy firms through the continuous process of development and trainings.


Having started his career as auditor with an international accounting firm in Hong Kong, Thomas has accumulated over 20 years extensive audit and advisory experiences from international and mid-tier accounting firms. Singapore has been his career base since 1999. He was the statutory audit partner in charge of more than 10 companies listed in Singapore Stock Exchange with operation in the Asia pacific region during the period of practice. His clientele was varied and from industries including telecommunications, manufacturing, construction in Singapore, Hong Kong, China and ASEAN. He is also the partner in charge of internal audit in company listed in Singapore Stock Exchange.


Thomas is a practicing fellow member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), an associate member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKCPA) and an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). He holds a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Warwick, the United Kingdom. His dissertation paper subject was on merger & acquisition. He also holds a Diploma in International Financial Reporting from ACCA.
